Any pupils aged between 16 – 19 who are interested in attending these FREE music work shops should see their Support for Pupils teacher for an application form.

Scottish Schools Swimming Championships

Scottish Schools Swimming Championships – Sunday 27^th January @ The Dolan Baths, East Kilbride

Congratulations to James Gillespie’s High School Swimmers who competed in the Scottish Schools Championships. A special mention to all but especially George Clough for taking home a gold and silver!

George Clough (13/14 yr old) - Won gold in the 200m Breaststroke and silver in the 200m Individual Medley.

Benjo Duheric (13/14 yr old) - 5th in both the 100m and 200m Butterfly

Hana Duheric (15/16 yr old) - 8th in the 200m Butterfly

Jeremy Scott (15/16 yr old)- 9th in both the 100m and 200m Freestyle (A great swim considering he is in the younger half of the age group)

Gigi Slater (12 yr old and under) - 10th in the 50m Butterfly (Fantastic swim from the JGPS pupil in her first race in a 50m pool)

Lothian Health Board have today issued a letter to all parents, guardians and staff about seasonal flu and meningitis with advice on spotting symptoms and where to seek further advice and treatment.
